The Workshop Goals
Workshop participants will become familiar with the use of new teaching technologies (with due regard to the WMO strategy in improvement of education and training), including distance learning, training of personnel in meteorology and operational hydrology.

— preparing society for innovation by providing a reliable basis for education;
— technical tools and software for learning process provision;
— networking educational technologies and learning communities;
— psychology and pedagogy of distance learning;
— software for learning management;
— automated knowledge control and its forms;
— features of electronic teaching materials design;
— international standards for electronic teaching materials.
